I have a 2016 4Runner and I am ordering the 3 person Nomadic Extender roof tent. What should I get to support the tent, a roof rack or will cross bars suffice and which do you recommend?
roof racks will be noisier when driving, but they typically can handle more weight by design. i have cross bars on two different vehicles and they work for what im doing, but i would personally go roof rack for the tent
