My cap on my tundra is a Glasstite. It’s a tall model with roof above truck cab. Anyway, the roof of the cap is NOT flat. It has a slight curve or radius. So I’m nervous about getting the rails as any hardware that slides in and locks in won’t be pointed straight up, they will be angles out a few degrees. Thoughts? I can’t be the only one that has run into this issue. My ultimate goal is to place an ARB awning.

have pictures of cap? i built a unistrut platform for mine. (will edit to add pictures from phone) could make the mounts to go through cap, if you go that route make sure to research it mounting to fiberlgass tops, most require epoxying in some form of anti crush sleaves.
