Our 2 boys had a waterpolo tournament at Shaver Lake. So, after the 3 day tournament, my 3rd child and I decided to head up to Bald Mountain. At first both him and I were really to tired from all the hiking to and from the games, buy decided if we didn't go we'd end up regretting not doing it, since we were so close, and could see the look out tour each day.
So, we just sucked it up and went. I'm so glad we did. The view was amazing, and worth the trip. We took the easier route since 1, we were the only ones going up. 2, I didn't really want to break things on my Jeep. It wasn't difficult, but there were some options for easy or slightly more technical routes. The trail is kind of tough to follow since there really isn't any good directions, but we did it and had a blast.
