US West Quick 1-2 night trip in SoCal? Feb 8-11? Recommendations?

Looking for a quick trip in Feb. any good recommendations that aren’t too far away? I’ll drive 3-4 hours but that about as far as I can go on this one.

I love going to Anza Borrego. It would be roughly 2.5-3hr drive from you. TONS of places within to explore. Almost all of the Park is primitive camping. Fish Creek is a favorite of mine, great place to camp for the night.
