Hey everyone! So the wife and I are heading up to tahoe for the week, but we're a day early, and thinking about spending the night up at coyote flats.
1: Is the road out of bishop passable with a teardrop in tow?
2: how long does the trail typically take? Is it overkill to go up there for just one night?
3: If no to 1 or 2, where would you recommend staying the night in or around that area? Trying to get out of the heat a bit.

for question 3, you could head up silver canyon just north of bishop into the white mtns. it's steep but easy, takes you as high as 11 or 12k feet, then exit Wyman canyon back to bishop....

Thanks guys! I pushed passed coyote flats but found a great trail and camp spot north of the june lake loop. About a mile back in the Forrest, found a perfect spot to park the camper for the night. I'll have to make another trip up to coyote flats though as it's on my bucket list
