I want to add a back up 11 lb propane tank and store on my baja roof rack. Any suggestions for what kind of bracket I should use?

If it works, and it does, that's the way to go. I believe in keeping it simple.I'm leaning towards a plastic milk crate...but I'm a little cheap on some things.

Cant get more simple than that.i just took a piece of flat bar and drilled two holes in it, then put it under my roof basket and used two threaded hooks to cinch the bottle down to the basket. i have right at $1.74 in it and it holds very well

Never underestimate your local welding shop. Those guys are amazing at building things simple and cheap.Curious what you decided on? Im also in the market for an 11lb tank mount. Looking at the PowerTank mount, but it is alil pricy.

Find yourself a hot rod shop or garage that caters to racing or off roading and they can fix you up I think. In Miami quite the opposite is true of any and ALL manufacturing, service or repair shops and tradesmen.
