Are folks running battery powered water spigots on their water jugs? If so got any recommendations? I broke the plastic spigot on my Reliance 5-gal container and thought I'd upgrade. That plastic spigot always produced weird flowing water anyway.

I made my own.
Heres a build thread
Powered water can

The top pictures are what most people run for a pump, the bottom has a better pump and battery. You can also buy them.

Nice setup. In my case it is for my drinking water containers. I was thinking something more like this, although my containers are a different style than the 5-gal water bottles this fits on. I'm wondering if anybody has adapted this to fit on a Reliance 2.5 or 5 gal container?

Did that in the beginning. Its not difficult to mount it to a lid or just set it on top.

Have one of these in the office, placed on top of those clear blue 5 gallon water jugs. Honestly I just carry my own water in Nalgenes, but this seems to work. I think water coursing through it recharges it, though it does surprise us and need to be connected to the charger from time to time.

Yes, battery-powered water spigots are a good upgrade. Check out the Lifeline Battery-Powered Water Pump, Esky Battery-Operated Water Pump, or Camco 12V Water Pump. These options provide reliable flow and are compatible with 5-gallon water jugs.

I installed a marine push/pull spout onto a MWC can. No battery failure issues.
