Greetings...As a potential new member, I would like to ask, should I join despite the fact I do not own a 4x4 yet? Ive been "overlanding" with my 03 Tacoma prerunner for years and just recently came across your site/club. I am eyeing a newer Toyota 4x4 4 runner this time or even an older one being that I am a mechanic. Thank you all..;)

Hi Indy. I am a fairly new member and I would say go for it. I waited a very long time to join because I felt my rig wouldn't be right for it but as you've already heard it doesn't matter what you drive.

Thank you. I appreciate the responses. Despite being a 2wd truck, ive taken it on some interesting off road trails in the eastern sierras. I just use common sense and bring some tools in event I get stuck. I don't go where I shouldn't.
