This is the front of my 14’ Ram 1500 4x4 3.92 with the 5.7l engine.

For lighting. I run a 24” VisionX XPR light bar. Also, 4 VisionX CG2 multi led light cannons.

^ light bar only. Photographed with crappy iPhone camera. Not must Justice.

Anywho, what do you guys use to navigate the earth at night? Curious to see. :)

Do you have a build out of your truck? I have a 13 sport im still thinking of building. I have to wait till contract time to see if I'm trading it or building it. Like the front bumper!

I decided to go more traditional in my aux lighting choice. I also decided to go with Amber for a number of reasons.

Amber is less of an irritant to oncoming drivers, and you can leave them on without being flashed most of the time. This may also be because of the New LED headlights are so bright and people are getting used to them. 55 watt that work on the dashes OEM Switch. No fuse issues.
There is less bug attraction. Good at night and your using the lights for stationary projects.
For snow or fog...less glare....greater visabilty in bad conditions, than white lenses.

I also just installed a small set of OEM fog light replacements into my ARB winch bumper (no pic of them). These also are 55 watts a piece. My plan is too wire the HELLA 500 lights into their own harness, and use the replacement fogs in the OEMs switch.20170306_094405.jpeg20170321_023106.jpegResized_20170309_112223.jpegResized_20170309_112254.jpeg

50" light bar up top (White or Amber) low ditch lights wired up with the foggers and undercarriage lights up front. 6" bar led floods on the sides and 4" square LEDs out the rear. Pics don't do justice of course, but I've got 360° coverage.IMG_20181004_222059.jpegIMG_20181004_222227.jpegIMG_20180908_202727.jpegIMG_20181212_000341.jpeg

All I have is a cheap 17" lightbar (and cheap aftermarket l.e.d. foglights) up front, but I will add more later this year (I really want a curved dual row 40" lightbar on the roof, 2 small round halogen lights on top of the chrome bar and maybe a 20" below the licenceplate).

You may want to black out the back side of your brush bar if you put lights on the roof. That will bounce back at you a bit. :D

I’m running:
John Deere HIR 9011 bulbs in my stock hi and low headlight assemblies
2 7” 45w Cannon Spot beams
10” Baja Designs On6x light bar
2 Baja Designs Squadron Sports wide cornering, flush mount angled out 20*
50” Arsenal Off-Road combo single row light bar
been pretty happy with this setup as it handles all my driving conditions and wasn’t too pricey.

My 2001 ISUZU TROOPER still in its build phase..(will do a write up & update on this app).

My first project was too make the custom roof rack to be from front too back with an old school off road light feel, still LED's tho. I just didn't want a LED bar like everybody else now.
