Anybody use one? Saw it at Costco today. Not sure how much I would use it. Fruit smoothies would nice.

I had a USB-C powered one i was using for a bit. was awesome to use for random drinks and blending. Went to a bigger ninja now as im delving into making hot sauce and its a lot easier to use this than a small personal one. They can be useful and can be a big battery drain.

another gadget we ended up not using. the wife LOVES gadgets and while some turned out to be very useful...most end up in a tote out in the garage.
the ninja cordless blender works great and is nice if you are doing a breakfast smoothie in place of a meal. a smoothie is healthy and the clean up is a lot easier than cleaning up after a traditional meal, so there are benefits to having it. for us, it just didnt pan out. keeping frozen fruit on hand was a pain and then the wife wanted protein powder to add and then wheat germ and then we ended up with more stuff that clumped up, got hard and ended up not getting used either. and of course she would always forget to charge it and then it gets loaded with fruit and stuff and wont run.

i found that if you dont do something on a regular basis at home...you probably wont do it while being out in the boonies.

with that being said, it doesnt mean that i wouldnt get it and try it. its a relatively cheap thing to buy and since its a 2 pack, you can give one to a friend or family member. you might use it and really like it. one of those things you dont know until you try.

i bought the wife a very nice cordless vacuum and its in the corner covered in dust because she keeps forgetting to charge it, so i might be a little jaded when it comes to cordless appliances...:expressionless:

Yeah, blender at home mostly stays on shelf. Cleanup is always an issue. That's why why I don't cook that much on the road. Tend to stay on the move and like to sample local cuisine. I like gadgets too but I really have to closely evaluate how much use and space to store it.
