Points accrual/Trophy Completion

I am sure this has been addressed some where in a thread, but I’ve been unsuccessful finding it.

Is there a delay in Trophy/points after the task has been complete? I recently (I’m super new 7-7-2020) completed the Traveler I, II, and III, but they have not been “completed” in my Profile. The additions are showing on the map in the application, but no points have been awarded or task completed.Just curious more than anything.

I enjoy doing the little task for the self notoriety and accomplishment.

The ranking and points system is evolving and seems to be human driven. My rank used to be VII and when I just looked it has dropped to a V. Maybe I pissed someone off

Some of it is automatically updated and some needs review and authentication.

Also, I've found the app doesn't show the most recent achievements, but the browser version does. I assume it's not a high priority for the tech guys at the moment.
