Hey everyone I'm looking for some information that might help me plan my trip up north. I'm looking for routes and and any advise I can get on the area . I will be passing through the Serria Nevada and working my way up towards Redding California.

Do you have any dates locked down yet, I live in Redding,CA. Just had a day trip 299 to Burney Falls, then 89 to McCloud and had burgers at Floydes, I5 back home. If I can help, let me know or send a pm. Safe travels.

Have you been to the Mccload river yet? Straight to Mccloud or side trips and stops to and from? Lots of trails in the National Forest.

89 through Lassen should be open by then. There will be an annually held 'bicycles and hiking day's when opened. There will be no vehicles on 89 that day.

Almost forgot, Ah Di Na Campground has bathrooms and running water. The guy at the Fly shop recommended to bring your own drinking water.
