First change from stock. Lift to be installed over the winter...

Platform dimensions: 48”W x 73.5”L.

Hinges are simply for securing the two halves. Pins pull and front platform slides on top of rear.

Probably going for 2e 3”thick (24”x72”)Home Depot foam pad as mattress of choice. Don’t feel like spending $200+ for something nicer.EF3F93EC-EDDC-476B-80BF-30C5ECE60CB2.jpeg84920AD1-53D1-445B-8C5D-620BFB154320.jpeg2BAE9D09-11A2-483B-B039-B7045F2BA313.jpeg8C57522E-3A91-47E5-9D65-87D51C6B6D08.jpeg

Yeah that’s what I designed it for actually. I’m 6’1” and the wife is 5’7”. It’s 4’ wide and 73.5” long. Trial run this weekend
Should be fun! My son and I slept in our truck with camper shell as our trial run. Worked out great since I had the bed and he got the floor lol.

Platform looks good! With the third row seats removed is there a pretty significant amount of storage underneath? I've been toying with the idea of removing my third row as well since it's never used/covered by the storage drawer system I built

I would say the 3rd row is far less significant than the second row, but if you’re not using them, you’re just carrying the weight and wasting the space.

The extra space is more than enough for carrying an extra battery, water, gun rack, or smaller hiking packs. Maybe 6 cubic feet?
