Went for my first GA flight in a swedish 3 seat aircraft called a Saab Safir on july 20th 2018, I quickly found out that if I go flying as much I want, it will get expensive really fast, but hey, everyone needs a hobby right?

Congratulations on your first ga flight. The first one is always something to remember. I hope it turns out to be a lifelong hobby for you.

Haha tell me about it... got my bachelors in aeronautical sciences... took a solid decade to pay off my school loans. Been a pilot for 18 years though and been absolutely worth every penny.

I fly Citation Jets professionally. But have owned a Piper Pacer and spent a lot of last summer backcountry camping with the family in a cessna 180. It's very fun, reading and self study will save you a lot of money. And as silly as it sounds a good copy of flight simulator or Xplane truly helps.

Cool, if I decide to get my PPL-A it will be a multi-year project as I have limited funds to spend on that, which means, right now it's just a dream I have.
