A friend of mine, Darbi, is a wine educator (Italian wine scholar and WSET2) and we recently partnered up and did a fun wine pairing night with “off road” type of foods a couple of weeks ago. It was both educational and eye opening for sure. She wrote up a great recap with recommendations you might like when you are out on the trail. She is also available to host classes that prove to be a fun and unique event to plan with your friends! She’s more local for Northern CA folks. My beer buddies had a great time!

What is your favorite trail pairing?

Cool. Thanks for sharing. Bottle or Box, we've always have wine on the trail. Being in Europe, it is often from the Piedmont region where we make our annual wine run.

Anything in a box - easier to pack and doesn't roll around ! :innocent:
i definitely agree. i also prefer a cheaper wine because i like the higher sugar content and the hard hitting buzz that only a cheap or fortified wine can provide.

**TIP**
when drinking a boxed wine, you can hold the box upside down and open the spout and blow hard, inflating the plastic bag in the box. close the spout and turn upright. now when you open the spout, the wine is pressurized and can fill a glass much faster
