I'm sure many of us Overland explore or camp with man best friend! My pack and I are inseparable! How do you or do you have special gear to pack for your K9 companions?

Due to the nature of Montana I carry summer and winter gear for them (jackets, boots, blankets etc.) I also carry a K9 1st aid kit, strobe lights for their collars, they have their own packs that can carry food and water. What am i missing?

Gorgeous Shepherd! We have twins!! I've been wondering what all I should pack for mine too. I'll have to check those threads as well.

I pack a 30' steel cable and carbiner. I'll string the cable between my truck and a tree or other structure and attach her 6' leash to it with the carabiner. This gives her plenty of space to roam without having to worry about her wondering off or chasing wildlife. Also in her box of goodies is a harness, lighted beacon, padded blanket, first aid kit, and a few chew toys.20171231_134754.jpg
