This is a little bit of personal growth journaling, shared experience and a thank-you post. In my 20's through 40's rock climbing, mountain biking, mountaineering, photography and other extreme sports were what I was all about. And traveling in my Jeep throughout the west was simply a means to enjoy all of those activities. Fast forward present day: Over 50, married with a family in middle Ga. How to incorporate those activities from the past into the present has been a struggle. Some of the activities I enjoyed in younger years are very limited or simply not practical now day. Throw in one new Jeep Commander, my love of the outdoors and a desire to share this with my family. And you have what overlanding is to us. Organize all of the above. And you have Overland Bound !
Thank you Overland Bound for being what you are. It's about equipping others to take their own journey. So they can experience and explore this land. All within a shared community.
