I nearly always overland with my wife and two kids (now 5 and 7yo). This adds a lot to my travels (eg bonding, training) but also some limitations (regular stops, slower and safer travel etc.). What are your thoughts?

My little guy has been out camping all over the place with us since he was about 6 months old. Now we have another on the way lol.
It certainly adds some challenges, and traveling is much slower.... drives that used to take me most of a day are now days..and there is a ton more gear needed to keep everyone comfortable and happy lol. But as you mentioned it's a great time.for bonding and teaching kids about the outdoor and life outside of home.
Mines 3 now and loves it when we go on trips.

He is so sweet. Amazing photos. Agree fully with all your remarks.

Enjoy
