Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
I too would love to see some good van builds on OB. Especially some non-Westy ones [emoji16]. Not a damn thing against Westys, they've just become so popular I find it inspiring to see other capable modified vans. If there are any older builds of this variety here I've missed, long-time members can feel feee to link here.

Sorry, I don't have a proper build documented somewhere but I've replaced, improved, added a lot to it since it left Sportsmobile in '05. I've had it since 2010 after the first owner mildly crashed it and band aided it back together for the sale.
Thanks for the roll call for vans as often it seems like I'm in an ocean of Jeeps and Toyotas.

Here is our OB van, Hawk HD brakes, Airlift, 2000W pure sine wave inverter, solar, Xantrex 20A charger, Blue Seas Battery Link, pressurized water system, fridg, microwave, coffee maker, porta pottie, large bed w/ 9" memory foam, CB, 2M, Marine VHF, AV system w/ 19" led flatscreen, DVD, graphic EQ, Kenwood 35x4 amp, 4 Pioneer speakers. all wiring marine grade, AC, swivel passenger seat. We also trailer a 12' Carolina Skiff, and a Yamaha Zuma Scooter. When we travel to Colorado we set the van (The Duke) up as base camp and rent Jeep Rubicons to do the back roads.Attachments
