This is a short report about our time attending one of our first overland rallies.
Normally Merri and I tend to be solo overlanders. We enjoy the freedom of going at our own pace, going anywhere at any time we want, and above all the solitude. Video capturing and photos are also a huge part of our itinerary when we're out and about. It's hard to set-up or stage a shot when there's so many people involved.
But lately we're seeing the benefits of once in a while getting together with likeminded folks to swap stories and get ideas.
Last fall we were involved with the FJ Summit held every year in Ouray Colorado. Yes there were a lot of people, yes it was hard to get pics and video on the trails, yes we had a wonderful time!
This year we're scheduled to attend at least four big events, the first being a week ago.
