Overland Kelowna area?

We're thinking of getting out next (this upcoming) weekend. Looks like the weather is going to be cooler closer to home (calgary) so thinking of heading more Kelowna area. Wondering if anyone local can let us know if there are any off grid places around there that we can likely get to and find a place to enjoy?

I’d pick up a backroad map book for the area when your there, lots of info for camping and exploring, if the pictures don’t work I can try emailing them if you want.
