Fritz, 3yo Belgian Malinois rescue....unfortunately he's not very responsive to my commands when off Leash/outdoors, so he 100% has to be tied off or on Leash at the campground... And even then he's slipped out of his harness once. This is something we are slowly working on. Id love to let him be off Leash at times and not have to worry about spending the next hour chasing him around.
My pitties love to explore but we're still working on staying out over night with them. They don't sleep well and keep trying to get back into the Suburban thinking its time to go.
Huck. He "worked" with me some days. He'd scare bear away (did it all the time) , maybe lions too, since we only saw tracks (yipes) He was 165lbs when he died last year. We had to always have his vest on when we got off the grid because he looked like a black bear from a distance. Bad. Ass. Dog.
