Love Cattle/Herding dogs...my favorite breed! Border Collies, Australian Shepherds, Australian Cattle Dogs, Texas Heelers, Blue/Red/Queensland Heelers...and others...
It is fun having a little buddy. Our problem is ours falls asleep as soon as she hits the backseat . . . no matter how rough the trail. She is more a hiker.
I think it is totally cool that you let your buddy do all the navigating but I am curious about the communication system you two use.
