Hello OB Vanlifers!

I wanted to post this to meet other Vanlifers out there.

Where are you from and what kind of rigs do you have?

Not a Van "Lifer" but weekend getawayer. I have a Promaster/Winnie Solis 59PX. The van is Not an off-roader by any stretch but does fine in the Jersey Pine Barrens. I have 40 years of off pavement driving experience. I carry a shovel, Go-Treads & a kinetic rope. Only needed the GT's one time.

12’ Carolina Skiff w/ 25 HP Yamaha
Draft: 1’
Range: 115 mi.
All Type I offshore safety gear.
Comms. Marine VHF w DSC, 2M HT
Navigation: Garmin GPS Chartplotter with HD CHIRP Sonar. (unbelievable resolution)
NAV Case: IPad w/ Garmin GLO GPS loaded with GAIA mapping , Google Earth live/real time.
Treasure Hunting: Garrett MD, pointer, 4K Drone
Protection: Custom Stevens 520-30 12ga Riot Gun w trigger disconnect for slam firing.
Ruger SP101 357mag. Bear Spray.

This bad boy was longer than the skiff, seconds after I took the pix he launched off the bank and landed right in front of us. It was like a telephone pole hitting the water.

Thank you! This was on Morrison Jeep Trial in Wyoming. It is such an amazing location to get some cool shots!

Taken this mug most everywhere my previous Jeep and Tundra have gone within reason. Love the capability of it, but truly wish the 1500 or 2500 truck makers would build a true 4x4 van.
