Overland Bound Forums - No Ads, EVER

Hey all,

I just want to underscore something here that's probably apparent, but perhaps not obvious.

Overland Bound is about spreading the word about overlanding, and sharing information to make the great outdoors accessible. These forums are a big part of that, and they belong to you!

The Overland Bound forums are not only on a robust software platform, and hardware infrastructure (they should be very fast even with all the media), they are also ad FREE.

You will NEVER see an ad on our forums. Loading ads reduces speed, and forum efficiency. It's also annoying.

So please use these enjoy these forums, connect with people, and let us know how we can improve the experience!

TL;DR TapaTalk is not the Overland Bound forums.

If you choose to use TapaTalk, we allow it, but that is not the Overland Bound Forums, and we have no control over what they present in the forums, including ads. TapaTalk is a content aggregator, and they essentially use our content to make $, so they do advertise.
