Out and about this weekend

We decided to take some back roads up into Meadow Lake this weekend and stay for four days. What a nice place although I can't say I'll be going back. Saw trout but nothing bit in four days.

Took a pretty hairy "goat trail" in from 89 and got into some tight spots. Had to winch a few times but the FJ handled it great.

If there were fish to be caught I would go back. We have been having terrible luck in the Sierra lakes and streams lately for trout. I tend to only camp where I can catch my food.
