Enthusiast III
Good Day,
I am doing the Ottawa Valley loop from Johnstown to Round Lake the Long weekend in July with a friend.
We are going to be continuing after the continuing into Algonquin for a week of camping after the fact. The friend will be peeling off after this portion.
Now for the question is this route rather decent for ground clearance? The videos i have seen seem to make it out to be more like backroad driving vs actual technical terrain.
I have no issue about the Rig(2022 Ram Rebel with 2.5" lift on 35" tires) but more the fact i plan to tow a 4'x8' utility trailer with the kids bikes, kayaks, and other needed gear in it. The axle on the trailer only rides 10"- 12" off level ground and i am curious if there is a decent risk for snags along the way? I know that the trailer will fit down the trail as long as the truck does as it is more narrow than the truck.
Thanks for any advise.
