So I got a new vehicle, 2010 trail edition 96k miles. I still have my f150 but this is now going to be my long distance vehicle. Also welcome to the new members! OB3153

There's a midwest overland bound facebook page, but it covers Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, and maybe another state or two.
Not to my knowledge. There is a non-OB group called Weekend Wanderers that is mostly people in Ohio.
Weekend Wanderers is mine...its the Midwest crew from Midwest overlanders mid Atlantic overland society and OB Midwest guys that go once a month someplace within 4 hours of Ohio.
We did monongohela national Forrest in June.
We did a killer upper peninsula of Michigan trip early August.
We are doing a camp and cruise Kelly's island this weekend.
I think October we are heading to land between the lakes.
November we are doing a southern monongohela run near Beckley
Jan or Feb we are going back to Allegheny national forest near kinzua
My big trip next year is Portsmouth island outer banks for 5 days if the hurricane leaves us someplace to dispersed camp.
We often do quick weekend trips to AEP with just a week notice we are getting together.
Feel free to check all 3 sites out...good folks for sure!!
