Hi all, new here. I've been trying to find a windows application that allows caching of topo maps (think USFS maps with trails marked) and having a pretty difficult time find anything in line with what I'm looking for.
Basically I want to do on my laptop what I can do with a backcountry mapping app on my phone, less the GPS capability. I have a 2-in-1 laptop that I can fold over and basically use as a tablet. The closest thing I can think of right now that works is to download PDF maps from a service such as the USFS and to compile the maps into a larger map so I can have the seemless experience when I'm looking at it.
