I did a little googling.. Looks like it's near shaver lake in northern california..

It's about an hour south of Yosemite in central CA. If you check the forum with GPS tracks, find the one for a bald mountain overlook and you can do the same run.

That would be fun, but it's probably a 12/13 hour flight for me to get to California to begin with.
