Creating this thread to see how many people would be interested in starting a socal convoy. Would be cool to start the adventurous weekend early and meeting new people on the way up. Who's with me!?
P.s
I would be driving out of pomona

Awesome, I'll look through Google maps to try and find an exit with a gas station and grocery store just in case we need last minute things

Little too far inland, I'm in south bay. How about here for at least one point?

(Sorry, can't figure out how to get map coords on my phone)

Some of you have probably been there before, but as you convoy, look at the City of Prather for your last gas/market before getting to camp. The nearby City of Auberry has a Napa too. (someone needed to grab a new starter there last year) Camp Edison is only 26 miles from there and the Bald Mtn trail is not too long. Many people filled up here for the weekend and their tanks lasted the whole time. There is a station and markets a couple miles from the campground, but it's $$$.
