Hi all,

New member here, learning the forums and the website in general. I have a question about acquiring off-road trail maps for download/printing. I'd like to start accumulating good quality maps, and had the understanding that being part of the Overland Bound community gave access to such maps. Hopefully I am not misinformed.

I am also heading up to North Lake Tahoe, CA for a bit of fun in the snow in Feb of 2020. I've gotten into the snow and mud up there in the past but am searching for some trail maps and details for safe and fun powder running. I'm open to member expertise and experience.

I grew up in Reno- there's Hunter Lake and the access to it is above Caughlin Ranch area in Reno. That'll put you up above on some OHV trails. If done right it can loop you back to NF-100 which will exit at a fire-station off I-80 across from the Boomtown casino.

thanks DRTMaverick! I looked it up on google maps. It appears to have some cool terrain. I wonder how deep/accessible it will be in February. Do you know of a reliable OHV map company to purchase maps from? I'd like to start a small collection for each trail I've done (have a couple already but not the best quality/detail). I thought this membership to Overland Bound also included such maps. Seems as though I was mistaken...
