Projects are within the Mojave National Preserve. Total miles vary depending on what project someone is assigned to.

This time we have some very diverse projects, one of which is to help identify and catalog the hundreds of dispersed campsites they have identified. This has project has been hanging for some time but hopefully it will come together for this TG event.

Wow i really hope i can make it this time! I think finding dispersed campsites is actually something i can help with to given my disabilities. So far is had to cancel each time with huge disappointment.

Scouting and cataloging camp sites sounds like a lot of fun:)

There is another fire in the preserve. The fire started last Friday in the New York Mountains and has burned over 82,000 acres.

the plan is still being put together but what it looks like is two different groups, one moving everyday starting on Thursday or Friday and one base camped somewhere in the middle. The idea is to get everyone together Saturday night for the raffle and NPS talk.
