Book on your own - Suggest to wait and see who signs up and then team up to make a reservation. the Dry RV sites (46-71) can accommodate 2-3 vehicles.

We'll talk more about logistics at our meetup on 4/16

I'm somewhat new at this and not into rock crawling; is this an appropriate trip?

Most of these trips I have been on have multiple routes and most vehicles can make them. Did Mojave with a stock landcruiser on street tires, Anza Borego had bypasses for any "obstacle", Big Bend was a bit bumpy but nothing crazy. No real rock crawling unless your vehicle is equipped for it. There are a couple people attending that have rigs ready for rock crawling but like I said it's mostly camping and cruising.

Wish I found this earlier. Always had fun base camping at Panamint.
