We appreciate many members do not religiously log into their Overland Bound Account to check for mail, notifications or view the up and coming Rally Points.
And this is fine as it allows members to flow in and out with Overland Bound as and when they need whilst balancing real life. We have all been there where so much is going on in your real life you don't have the time or energy to keep up with all that is happening in the Overland Bound world.

Its those members I am specifically reaching out to today to try and ensure you are kept up to date with what's happening in your region so when you are ready to step back in you are aware of what is happening and what up and coming events are on the calendar.

The best way to ensure that is to log into your OB account regularly and the easiest way to do that is to download the OB1 App which makes checking Rally Points, your messages and your notifications very quick and easy.
However if you feel you are not ready for this please do set up your preferences and notifications on either the Web Based Platform or the OB1 App. Customising these settings means you can keep OB at arms length whilst also receiving email notifications based on your tailored settings. Its simple and straight forward to do and gives you control over what you see whilst also making sure you are not missing out.

I've said it before! The way to get the most value for your OB membership is to be engaged and this can mean being involved in planning, trips via Rally Point, engaging in discussion on the Forums or WhatsApp / Facebook Groups or just by keeping up to date at arms length on your Regional Events.

The members have the power here and ultimately Overland Bound is nothing without the members.

Very well said and something I've been struggling with myself how to communicate this very thing.
Would you mind if I copied and pasted this (with your credit and linked here to your original post) to our Australian FB groups?
