Northern California (or anyone willing to travel)

How many people do we have on here from Northern California? Been thinking we can get an overland bound group together for a day trip to a local northern Cali trail.  Any input would be great. Possibly sometime in July would be great!? Let's hear some thoughts.

Hey Justin,

I think July would be great. I have a couple of spots in mind. Sequoia National Park has a few great moderate trails that can host quite a few people. That might be a good place. It is east of Fresno. Overland Bound HQ is located in Oakland. There are also a couple places further north, Lake Alpine for example.

We should make this happen.

That sounds like a nice place to go! I'm down for anywhere really, just to get a group of overland bound members together. Anyone in the same area, we can all meet-up in a spot and travel together. I'm in Fairfield so not far from Oakland at all.

Sounds interesting I would be interested in knowing what and where. I'm in Stockton, CA. so relatively close buy depending on where the destination lands.

Sequoia is prime for a group of Overlanders, and also accessible for those in So Cal.

Want me to throw out some dates in the late summer/early fall?

Yes please throw some dates out there. The more I think about it probably around late July because most people do things on Fourth of July with family. Hmm well @corrie maybe you can get everything squared away with details and all. This would be awesome!

We're in full pack mode for the Expo, and once we're on the road, we'll throw some dates out there for late Summer/early Fall.

Hey there!

Throwing out 2 possible weekends:

August 28th - 30th

September 11th - 13th

We'd probably arrive in Sequoia Thursday eve and pack out Sunday afternoon. And again, it's Central CA, so Southern folks could get there, too.
