First post! not my first trip but it is my first trip up to Oregon. taking the girlfriend cannon beach this next week (march 17-24)Currently planning on entering Oregon on hwy 5 up to Cannon beach and then head home down 101 along the coast back into California. I know a lot of areas are probably closed for the season this time of year but im looking for recommendations for trails and camping along 5 and/or 101.

I believe all the state parks along 101 and even over on highway 1 along the coast are open year around in Cali. Just a couple weeks ago we where going to stay at Mackerricher State Park but they closed it because of a storm that was coming in but a private campground up the coast was still open.
