I'm looking to plan a 3 day trip with a friend of mine bringing his 3 year old kiddo for the first time overlanding. We are in the bay area and wondering if you know of any trails that may open by early to mid june. I haven't been in Tahoe area this year so wondering if folks may know the trend. Feels like the annual ski season is extended for good reason. I initially wanted to explore the offshoots of Pardoe trail/Hungaletti or perhaps the Mudlake area but also thinking of sticking to no longer than a few hour drive (home to trailhead). Main goal was to kick back, drive a little, show the little one some offroading and have more fun. Side note: we both have slightly lifted 4x4 capable vehicles.
