A 2013 Tacoma IS a used vehicle. So if you bought it new, you have, what, a couple months, or a couple years left to pay. And its a TOYOTA, so it will last till 2043.
I bought a 110,000 mile warranty when I bought mine. I also have 5 year 50,000 miles of service contract, and Im probably gonna extend that when the time comes. And its a TOYOTA, so it will last till 2047.
Now, You are trading a Taco for an old Isuzu Vehicross.
I understand the OB ethos of its not what you drive. But after you said that I don't really have any input, because I think you are flat crazy.

Yeah, I get that a lot. A Vehicross is NOT for everyone, and I wouldn't recommend it for most people for an Overland Project vehicle. There is nearly no room in the back, so if you have kids you are either putting a basket on top to carry most things, or you are pulling a trailer. In fact if you have kids, just don't do it. My son is grown and out of the house, so the back seat (such as it is) will be coming out. Some of the smaller bits can be hard to source, I have ordered several parts directly from Japan and I am still waiting for the last of the order to arrive. However, having said that, you don't buy a vehicle with 167,000 miles on it because you are looking for trail-ready vehicle. You don't get something as rare as a Vehicross because it's going to be easy. You do it because you love the vehicle, and because you are at least a little cracked in the head LOL!
