With all the Forest service roads, we got a lot of places to go. Look for MUVM maps online, they're all PDFs. Then look for the roads with the little dots on either side. You can camp anywhere along those. It's called dispersed camping... That was key for me as I was getting started. Welcome to the wilds of PNW!

Thank you. Great tip, and one not often found in threads. Cheers.

Hello everyone, I'm new to Overlanding here and I would like to know if there is any good Overland routes here in the Pacific Northwest. Thank you for your cooperation.

Thanks for asking this as I was just about to submit the same question. Also thanks everyone for the great advice. I do explore a lot of Forest roads in the Green Peter And Sweet Home BLM area but have been looking into extended trips. This is fantastic!

Lots of locations in the PNW, depends on your travel needs, equipment, comforts, etc. Plan a trip to a location, whether camping, glamping. Be prepared! There are places in Idaho, Central North Nevada, Western Oregon where there is ZERO cellular service. So know where you're headed, have a compass and travel map... Did I say... be prepared. Weather has changed our travel plans and we had to take a different road home. Most of all, just enjoy.
