Hello overland bound! I hope you are all well. Quick question for you wonderful folks.

I just got a new RCI bed rack and smittybuilt gen 2 rtt. Combined they added about 200 pounds to the back of my 1st gen Tacoma. In the rear I am running deavers leaf springs and icon piggy back shocks and I am seeing a little bit of “Carolina squat”. Any recommendations to help get things level?!

@Thevolleyball, if you don’t want to get a different Deaver leaf pack then an add-a-leaf. It would help with the sag, especially when putting additional gear in the bed, and they are around $200.

I’d consider bump stops too. They won’t help the “Carolina squat” but improve driving off road. Especially when adding weight. Sumo springs by Super Spring or Duro Bump Stops should support Gen1.

Good luck,
Cam
