I just saw a promo for the iKamper Skycamp RTT and it looks pretty interesting. http://www.ikamper.com Not a revolutionary new design, it's seems to incorporate design elements from both traditional and hard shell RTTs. While pricey, $3k, it's well within the range of other RTT products. It will be interesting to hear about durability of design and how it holds up in tough environmental conditions (wind, rain and snow).

I'm intrigued, but agree that it doesn't seem all that revolutionary. I'd be interested to hear if anyone has one what they think.

I saw this also and was very interested. Seems like you get some of the best from both the hard shell and soft shell RTTs. I am going to keep any eye on these. Only thing I don't like is the plastic windows. If they have a no-see-um (is that what they call it) I would be very interested.
