Hello, from southern IL what I have found out about living in the Midwest is that most rigs are build for mud. We are more into the overland type of off-roading. I have a 2017 Jeep JK that I am slowly building, I want to do it right the first time instead of redoing it. we are looking at off road campers now and have got it down to two that we like. I love the Turtleback, but we shall see. If I had to do over we would have got a JKU and went with a RTT. I was in the Marines for 10 years then DOD for 10 more and have been teaching for the last 20 years and getting ready to retire in May of 2021 and moving to the Tuscon area. We are very new to the Overland world and really looking forward to meeting other people. I promise to try and keep from asking to many dumb questions.
