My name is Bob and my wife is Christina. We are at the beginning steps of getting into overlanding. We have camped for years, but not as often as we would like (work schedule gets in the way) and neither of us have any off road experience.
We are in the South Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area.
Our current vehicle is a 2017 Ram 1500 Big Horn 4x4. Its all stock, except for new tires (33" Toyo Open Country A/Ts), and some minor cosmetic additions.
For the last 17 years I have owned 2 other 4x4 vehicles (2001 Jeep Cherokee, 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk). The 2001 is now in the hands of my brother and I traded the Trailhawk for the truck - needed the bed to haul for work. It was the Trailhawk that begin my interest in off road and overlanding.
I tend to read more and post little, but I will try to add to the discussions when I can.
