Hi,

New member from Maryland. Interested in learning more about overlanding. I'm a semi-avid backpacker, WFR, and enjoy offroading. Overlanding seems to combine some of those into something I might enjoy.

I have a '18 Wrangler JL, outfitted for offroad travel.

No overlanding experience per se, I'm brand new!

Welcome @gschlossnagle ! There's definitely a fair number of MD/DC/VA members on here. Mid-Atlantic area is represented pretty well. With that said, did you see that Overland Expo East is actually in VA this year? Definitely worth going to! Tons of vendors, and the best part is the on-site camping, with HUNDREDS of other rigs to check out and great people to hang with!
