New member from Long Island NY

I am new to overlanding but am very excited to get into it. I found out about this from a buddy am very excited and seeing how big the community is! I have a 2014 ram 1500 with lift tires that kind of stuff. I am not sure if I should do a bed rack with roof top tent or just the basic bed tent. If someone can give me advice on that kind of stuff it would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to OB. My daughter and her boyfriend live in Queens. Met them this weekend in PA for camping and trails. Camped at Ricketts Glen State Park. Great waterfalls!! Beautiful hike. Drove some forest roads in the Bald Eagle State Forest area.
