Welcome fellow AZ'r. We just completed our move to Tucson from Phoenix. You can camp up at Crown King - drive up easy front way or harder back way. You can come down here to Tucson and camp at Mt Lemmon and feel what 30 degrees cooler is like :). They have plenty of campsites down here if you like or you can wilderness it and be on your own.
