Which OB member is going to be the first to conquer the new Inuvik-Tuktoyaktuk Highway (replacing the ice road) accessing the Arctic Ocean?

It opened a few months ago in November and looks like an AWESOME trip. I imagine it would be somewhat similar to the Dalton Highway, only here you can drive all the way to the ocean....unlike in Prudhoe Bay. It's definitely on my "to-do" list...

The wife and I are just planning the trip now - will leave on or around July 3 2018. From west central Alberta. so if anyone is near and wants to do a tag-a-long trip you are welcome. Likely 3 weeks on the road including hot springs, fishing, sight seeing, fishing, gold panning, fishing and jade shopping (via the Stewart/Cassiar Highway). Start date bit flexible - so if interested message me.

My Wife and I will be heading north for the last 3 weeks in June. I've wanted to travel to, and experience the northern part of my Country for as long as I can remember. We've been planning this trip for a couple years now, and now we are finally getting close to departure time. We will be heading from our home in Penticton BC, up to the Cassiar Hwy, then up to The Dempster Hwy, and continue up to Tuk. On our way back I want to take the Campbell Hwy, and hopefully we have time to detour down the South Canol Rd too. It's ambitious, but we think we can do it.
