Welcome! The Sierra’s are an amazing place and I wish I could spend more time there. Hopefully in time! Welcome to OB!

Thanks Specter!
Although we love the eastern Sierras, Death Valley and the SoCal desert in Fall / Winter / Spring are awesome.
Utah with the San Rafael Swell and Vermillion Cliffs is hard to beat.
I am slowly working my way through the FAQs....... (slowly 'cause my lips move too much when I read....) :)
Best,
Jim

Grimgpr,
Just got back from 5 days at Coyote Flat and Monache Meadow on Aug 2.
Awe inspiring places. If you ever make it to the Eastern Sierras with your rig you must see these places.
Both places have great catch and release Golden trout fishing and my buddy had a great time fly fishing.
I am losing my jeepin' buddy as he moves out of state to retirement in Texas.........
As soon as I figure out how to post images, I will. The California forum has a thread on Coyote Flat from just
3 weeks ago and the terrain has dried out A LOT.
Best,
Jim

Sorry to hear your fellow Jeep friend is moving. Had the same experience when I moved. Miss wheeling with those guys and gals. But have made many jeep friends since. Would love to visit and will. Have a few friends who live nearby always asking me to visit. And just love fishing so I'm looking forward to that. :) Thanks for responding and have a fantastic rest of your week my fellow jeeple.
Cheers
