Enthusiast III
Hey everyone!
After browsing the forum for about a year I figured I'd take the plunge into membership (#10998)! It's been great to see the community take off.
A little bit about me...
Currently a mid-twenty year old accountant living in downtown Chicago with a love for the outdoors. The love has stemmed from growing up exploring the outdoors with my father. Fast forward many years, and I now have gotten my adventurous wife into both backpacking and overlanding.
Current vehicles are a 2018 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk (mine - with less than 150 miles on it...) and a 2017 Subaru Outback (hers - with many miles already). We recently picked up the Cherokee for myself, as we are moving in May from Chicago out to Denver, and needed to both have a car once again.
The plan is to keep the Outback pretty stock, and to leave it as our long road trip vehicle, whereas I plan to start building out the Trailhawk as soon as we get settled in Denver. I'll be sure to start a build thread when that happens!
If anyone is interested, some of the trips that I've taken with my father and with my wife are documented at www.outsideofcomfort.com. It's a pretty basic site that I sort of use as a journal, but hopefully some of you will enjoy!
Looking forward to becoming an active member and hopefully meeting some of you once I venture out West.
